Local shopkeepers are getting into the Christmas spirit with a few late shopping nights on Thursdays throughout  December in the 2011 postcode... and rumour has it that some, like Becker Minty and Blueprint, are offering drinks and snacks to help YOU get in the mood !

There's also a shopfront Xmas Decoration Competition, to be judged by none other than design superstar Amanda Talbot, who has recently returned to Australia after 10 years living and working in London.  Amanda is a trend forecaster and has worked with IKEA and Habitat as well as working on magazines titles likeUK's  Elle Decoration. She was recently seen on the Ch9 show design show Top Design with Jamie Durie.
